I'm Gavin — most people know me as Lureguessr on Whatnot, where I've sold over 8,500 hand-poured soft plastic baits to anglers across the country. What started as a hobby in my garage turned into a full-blown obsession with getting colors right — the exact number of drops, the perfect glitter ratio, the mold that gives you the best action in the water.
I built ColorForBaits because I got tired of the same question every stream: "What's the formula for that color?" Instead of answering it one person at a time, I wanted a place where every bait maker could share their exact formulas — colorant by colorant, drop by drop — so anyone could learn, replicate, and improve.
This isn't a corporate project. It's one angler building something for other anglers. Every feature on this site exists because someone in the community asked for it or because I ran into the problem myself while pouring baits.
